Questions
Do solo travelers pay more?
Often, because many cabins, rooms and tours are priced for two people. An advisor can look for solo cabins, single rooms and tours with a low or no single supplement.
Does it cost more to book a Solo Travelers trip through a travel advisor?
Usually not. Most travel advisors are paid a commission by the resort, cruise line or tour company, so many trips cost the same as booking direct. Some advisors charge a planning fee, especially for complex trips. Ask before you start.
How are the advisors on this page checked?
We check each agency's CLIA or IATA accreditation (industry credentials) by hand when it joins. The agency then confirms each advisor's CLIA or IATA number before the profile goes live, and the profile says who checked it. Reviews come only from real clients, and the star rating counts only reviews from trips the agency confirmed.
