About us

TravelAgentReview helps you find a travel advisor you can trust, using facts you can check.

A good travel advisor plans the trip you didn't know you wanted, and fixes things when a flight is cancelled at 2 a.m. But most sites that list advisors take reviews from anyone with an email address, or let advisors pay to move up the list. We built this site to do neither.

What we do

  • We check every agency, and every advisor's credential is confirmed. We check each agency's CLIA or IATA (industry credentials) accreditation by hand when it joins. The agency then confirms each advisor's CLIA or IATA number before their profile goes live, and the profile says who checked it and when.
  • We only take reviews from real clients. Each traveler gets a private review link that works once. Reviews from trips the agency confirmed are marked Verified Traveler, and only those count toward the rating.
  • We show what gets removed. Every profile says how many reviews the agency removed in the last 12 months, and why reviews can be removed.

How we make money

Agencies only pay for access to the platform. No traveler is ever paid for a review, and no advisor can pay to rank higher. Ever.

Who we are

TravelAgentReview was started by Jeff Stoner. Jeff and his wife, Karen, founded My Mickey Vacation Travel in 2008 and Dreams Fulfilled Travel in 2016. Both are Signature Travel Network agencies in MMV Travel Group, with more than 100 advisors. Our own agencies are listed here under the same rules as everyone else.

We are based in Winter Garden, Florida.
